Amanda’s Beauty Salon

“Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” was the only sound I could manage, shooting earthward over 50 meters above the ground, then swinging speedily back and forth… with heavy robes round my legs, a myriad butterflies in head and stomach, and my hands – my whole body – shaking with excitement.

This was my first bungy jump, and I was doing it at the X-Centre – one of the very first extreme activities centers in Chiang Mai province, located out on the Mae Rim Road. I don’t know what it does for you, but when I hear the word X-centre, or I receive a flash of that big strong red X symbol, I get an irresistible adrenaline rush and simply have to do something about it. Gotta go where the action is. That’s why you’ve just caught me 50 metres up, hurtling downward.

Manicure, pedicure, nail polishing in various attractive colors, nail painting in which you create your own miniature art forms, enjoyed in the comfort of a generously expansive chair.
