9th: OCARINA & GUITAR CONCERT IN CHIANG MAI
9th: OCARINA & GUITAR CONCERT IN CHIANG MAI by Hiromichi Kurono, one of the best-reputed Japanese Ocarina players. The concert will be given in support of 'Akatsuki no Ie', a dormitory for hill tribe students in Wiang Papao district, founded by Ms. Hozumi Nakano. The concert will be held from 6.30 pm - 8 pm at Chiang Mai University Convention Center, small hall (on one's right).

9th - 10th: WORLD CUP SCREENING. Chiang Mai goes soccer-manic as the World Cup tournament approaches. At Central Aiport Plaza, Central Kad Suan Kaew, and Thapae there are tons of activities such as Cheer Leader contests, game reviews, and much more before the games. Screenings are available in most restaurants, bars, etc. Trinity Avenue (01-6713846) among other places offers gigantic screening. Kick off match 9th June 11 pm.

9th - 23rd: THE INFINITY OF ART 3303 by the 80 Fine Arts Faculty Alumni. Sixty pieces - paintings, sculpture, print making, ceramics and Thai arts under the concept that art is all in their minds still, though the perpetrators have all graduated. 9th - 27th: THAI AND CAMBODIA ART EXHIBITION (CMU - RUFA) held by the Faculty of Fine Arts, CMU and Royal University of Fine Arts, Cambodia. The exhibition includes 60 pieces of painting, sculpture and printmaking to illustrate Thai and Cambodian art and to foster a good relationship between the countries.
