Beauty, Belief, Faith

The Bank of Thailand, Northern Region Office, is organizing an event titled "Colorful Design on Textile: Beauty, Belief, and Faith" to commemorate the sixth cycle (of twelve years) of Her Majesty the Queen's Birthday. Included are five exhibitions: "Beauty of Colors", "Beauty of Local Wisdom", "Beauty of Belief reflected in Fabric", "Beauty of Faith", and "Beauty of Thai Women's Grace". The five components are expected to give the audience as much knowledge about Thai fabric as possible. Additionally, there will be weaving demonstrations and a showcase of distinguished products from Chiang Mai, Lamphun, and Prae.

This exhibition will be held at the Bank of Thailand Museum, Northern Region Office, Chotana Road, Chang Puek, Muang, Chiang Mai, every day 9 am - 4 pm, from now until September 30, 2004. For more information, call 053 - 931202.
