Like the Songkran Festival, this is really for the young and strong at heart. If you enjoy crowds, noise, enormous quantities of goods you don’t want to buy, and food you don’t want to eat, this is definitely for you. And if additionally you don’t mind the thrill of meeting the ingesters of stimulants - some of legal - under floodlighting on cold winter evenings, you should be in heaven. On the other hand, gardeners who fancy picking up some interesting plants at bargain prices might find it a good idea to get there early the first day.
