ARIRANG - Located in the city center next to the night Bazaar, the Star Hotel presents “Arirang” with several specialty dishes to raise the temperature in your palate surrounded by a classy decorated burgundy teak wood atmosphere.

Taste their recommended sukiyaki menus with hot soup, along with a wide selection of meat and vegetables ranging over 13 items. There are two different menu sets: seafood and classic.

Alternatively, you could join up with a group of friends for the Arirang Hot Pots, whether in Chinese or Thai style.

Western cuisine for your preference will be a simple but classic signature dish such as Fish & Chips, Chicken Burger, Pepper Steak or Tuna salad, recommended by Managing Director Claude J. Scheffer himself.

Plus there is a Chiang Mai specialty monthly and for this month Khao Soi or Northern egg noodle soup with chicken and relishes is another dish to spice your body in this cooling breezy weather.

The ingredients are imported straight from the Netherlands as chicken, beef and pork either to make the original Frikandel or Dutch sausage, served with mayonnaise and onions: or as a smaller size sausage called Kroket or an even smaller one called Bitter Balls - six small round balls, all of which are challenging dishes, since every ball keeps the heat inside it.
